Ya thats what I am talking about...I can't tell how you made the bottom brackets allowing the pins to hook up? God, those hay spears are deadly looking things... just know I would have holes in the back of my little barn.

I made them out of 1 1/2" x 1/2" flatbar. The hole is a 32nd over, as are the holes for the top (multiple for adjustment). It rides on a piece of square tube (1 1/2" x 3/16"wall) that rides on a piece of 1" solid square. The travel is between the welds. Everywhere there is a weld on the solid, it is sitting on a piece of 1" x ~ 1 1/2" x 1/4" flatbar (to hold it at up the right height and to get a solid weld) The square tube has a 1/2" square nut welded to the top and a 1/2" bolt that holds the position. Works great! I pick up 1200lb round bales and stack them 2 high.

The spear is certainly deadly! Maybe you can get some details from these:

That is very slick indeed. The sliding bottom pin brackets are a great idea. All you need to do now is weld a piece of round bar onto the tops of those bolts and then you don't need a wrench to put the attachment on or off. Maybe even better bend a piece of threaded rod and cover the "handle" portion with a piece of rubber hose/tubing. Great job!

Any type of handle would only give me 180 degrees, if that, unless I went tall on the threads and even then there would be interference with the implement. I keep all my pins in the toolbox that came on the loader arm, so I just grab the wrench at the same time. Thank you both for the compliments!

Has anyone ever made or seen a rig for hooking your Three Point Hitch attachments to the FEL.
Bruce

Yes!

RonJHall inspired me with this post to do pretty much the same.

The main reason I built it was for a boom pole...

But I mostly use it with 3PT pallet forks. I also have a landscape rake that I've used in hard to reach areas.

A back blade to front snowplow project is in the works as well.

Good luck!

great ideas all. I am planning on welding a frame for the FEL of my 2320 that will accept a plow, pallet forks, and a Quick 3pt hitch all in one. The quick 3pt hitch should work awesome to lift and tilt my 60" rear finishing mower for cleaning under the deck and also sharping blades.

Using KennyDs design with the forks-

I am also going to weld the tubes on the rear of the quick 3pt hitch so all i need to do is pull the rod out to remove the forks and slide the rod back in to hold the top of the 3pt-

Millonzi already produces QA skid-steer type boom pole. Got 3-pt to skid steer adapter to use pole and pallet forks on rear.

PaPa Gus Your New Holand Land Pride dealer can sell you a SH35 hitch list about $1000.00. Pricey.skid steer quick attach on tractor side. grabs any new spec 3 point cat 1 or 2 ,3 point attachment. With shipping mine totaled out to about $850.00. For snow the rear 3 point blade on front, versus hydraulicly operated blade also about $1000.00,shames the three point. A couple of other manufacturers also make like hitches. I recall one also made one without skid steer attachment (was pin attach) , but it only fit one tractor. It is nice taking the 3 point pallet lifter with the SH35 and being able to lift a pallet out of the back of a truck. This is some thing not possible with rear 3 point lift.
