If its as good as it looks - I think the price is fair.

Thank you gents, much appreciated.

Admittedly, one always wants that is out of one's reach, **** it Murphy's law! I was contemplating the units that are either offset or you can slide the blade to either direction.

$1K is nothing for a blade that size with hydraulic angle...they can run several times that.

Is that a six ft wide blade?

It is not hydraulic angle, it is hydraulic offset, and only to one side without moving the hydraulic to the opposite side. Angle is still manual. I would not purchase it myself, but that is just me, other than that, it is a fine blade.;)

It is a nice blade but 72" is pretty limiting and won't cover most tracks. The hydraulic offset is helpful but that size of a unit would be better with a 7 or 8 ft blade.

Nice set up on the snow blade. Rugged. 6' is not very wide. My tractor is 5 feet wide. Extenders on the blade would probably work. 7' wide blade on my 5 foot wide tractor does fine. When you angle it- you lose some width.
Manual angle is second best to hydraulic angle. It is better than a straight blade. I all depends on the money you want to spend, and what you want to do with the two blades. You have a good eye for ruggedness.

His tractor would never handle an 8' blade properly. A 7 footer yes if he has some ballast.

I agree Brian, I'd prefer a hyd angle vs offset, but, it's good to know that the price is on par.

Just guessing but it looks like aftermarket hydraulic cylinder but I could be wrong. Yeah I would much rather angle vs. offset as well.

Brian is right, it has hydraulic offset. It is probably a $1200 blade new plus a cylinder and hoses. It is a Woods HBL72-2 just painted JD colors.
