Toggle valve would also work if you don稚 mind having to manually shift it.

I don't like adding anything with wires, they just end up getting torn off by low branches.

Agree on the wires posing more potential problems. I was always amazed on how corn stalks could find their way into the darndest places.

So I went to the local hydraulics place and they suggested a miniature ball valve, which worked great. It's good for 2500psi, which is fine for my system. Only cost $4.50, cheapest hydraulic part I've ever bought.
