IS WALMART HYDRAULIC FLUID USE OKAY IN KUBOTAS

Yea Junk, we know you and love you for it. Although I'm still a bit peeved about the flowers I sent after your medi-vac incident. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Well, to be truthful, I didn't send them but I thought seriously about it. Boy, would I have felt dumd as the real story unfolded.

Funny enough.. I know some old tractors that spec 50w engine oil in the trans and diffy/steering box.. vs a hypoid gear oil.. and with their age.. can also use that same 50w oil inthe crankcase to get some oil pressure /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I used hydrailic fluid purchased at Sam's (Walmart) and it is compatable with Kubota UDT!

Do you use Kubota UDT in the Kioti???? How do you know that Sam's/Walmart hydraulic fluid is compatible with the Kubota UDT? Is it stated on the package????

I think it was when I bought some last year. I may still have a pail in the garage, I'll check.

I checked the pail, the statement is "recommended applications" and it then lists Kubota UDT among others.

are you able to mix udt and super udt together. if not does Chevrons All-Weather meet udt or super udt specs. right know i use super udt and was wondering if i have to drain my fluid to switch over to chevrons stuff. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
