ISO or JIC on backhoe

/ ISO or JIC on backhoe #11
My wife and I went to our local Kubota dealer today with my tractor in tow ready to buy a new backhoe. Well right off the bat the dealer said that they would not put a back hoe on the L2600 or on our new BX2670 because the 3 pt would not stand the stress over time. The only way was if I purchased the sub frame which is another smooth $875. since it is winter and it will be wet till spring I think I will forget about the hoe then in the spring maybe focus on a mini track hoe. May be a sweet deal will fall into my lap. Who knows strange things do happens.
Your dealer wasn't trying to snow you, most small tractor's 3 PH isn't strong enough to handle a backhoe. Without the sub-frame, you would end up breaking your tractor. Some of the large Ag and Utility tractors can handle a 3 PH mounting hoe without damage, but never a SCUT or CUT.

ISO couplers come in ORB(o-ring boss) & NPT. ISO stands for industry standard

Close, but ISO stands for International Standards Organization

Well Gary I was disappointed but in the great scheme of thing I will be better off. I belive our dealer is a very respected dealer in fact we have bought 5 new Kubotas from him. Besides the sub frame issue cost him a sale so it must be needed.
