We have a lot of wooded land that needs to be cleared. The pevious owner timbered the hardwoods and left others down to rot to get those out. Then will run some cattle and goats I was told. Goats for the kiddos so moving hay bails around too. Oh and running a 15 foot rotary cutter too.

You will like that tractor. I have a '13 DK90 and I am continuously pleased. The attention to detail is really very impressive. Yes, I would rather have a more sophisticated tractor, but I cannot justify 25000.00 more for any significant upgrade (or not...). The Kioti's are really good machines.

Remember, that is an agricultural tractor, not a dozer. You might want to hire a dozer for the rough work and then work it down with the tractor. That's kind-of how it's done......except for on here, lol. Agricultural tractors are in no way, shape, or form made for land clearing operations. That's for equipment made of steel.

congrats :cool2:

Yes I am going to get the crew to clear the land with big stuff. I am going to have to make it useable after they pull the stumps. I will also clean out the stuff that is already down and now and mow some more. I figured it was a bunch more to step up a couple more sizes. I have experience with 300ho magnum case stuff. Had a farm in Iowa and BIL still farms. East coast is different. We do different stuff so no need for that big. If I want to raise beans and corn I would have kept the farm inIowa. It was tough going away from red but I think this will do everything I need and then some.

I am so, so jealous! Love the PX9020 and with the Pre-Tier IV engine, I would have grabbed it too if I had any need for something that size. Really is a beautiful tractor! Enjoy and don't forget to post pictures of it working!

Wow that is something. I would be more jealous, If I even knew what to do with that much power! Glad that people like Kioti's bigger HP offerings as well.

I suggest you get a cutting edge on the bucket and get the rear tires filled if you haven't already taken care of that.

Even with the cast rears you need fluid. It just stabilizes the tractor. Even 15-1600lb bales can make the rear end light-ish at times (like when unloading tractor-trailers at full height on slightly sloping ground). The bucket is decent, but no bucket should be used without a cutting edge, IMO. My bolt-on edge is holding up well so far. If I was doing a lot of dirt-work I would go for a welded edge.

All of my tractors have cast rears and fluid (60-130hp). And one also has wheel weights. The fluid changes the feel of the tractor in a very good way. Everybody here does it and everybody here uses calcium as any other fluid will freeze at times (very long cold stretches). I tried the DK without fluid and it was wrong for me. Considering the capability of the loader I wouldn't want any less weight, that's for sure. It balances-up quite nicely with filled rears, although wheel weights probably would make it even better. I have some that would fit. Hmmmmm.

You know, you look at the other brands to compare and you just can't see anything, nothing at all, that would make you think that the large Kioti's are cheap or lacking an any way whatsoever. An air seat that swivels would be nice and the hi/lo shift would be nice. Also a buddy-seat option. That's it. I think Kioti offers this abroad. When will they come here?

Good Luck Mr.Tinsafl !
