OK...
I cut down some sumacs with the saw to clear the way for my daylight ditch for the gutter pipe. I put the saw 10' off to the side. Went in with the excavator and worked. Then as I backed out, and a sapling I had run over sprung up and caught the saw, flipping it towards the machine. I picked my feet off the pedals immediately, but the left track pedal stuck for a split second. It clipped the saw as it rotated.
