When purchasing any item---it pays to shop:thumbsup:
I priced two used 5' United Box Blades at two different dealers. These are small businesses that deal more with used equipment and tractors.
One was bent on back and needed paint, the other was well used but looked better.
These were the heavy duty boxes with the lower link pins instead of threaded studs.
I went to the local MF dealer and bought it NEW for $10.00 less then they were asking for used boxes.

Good buy. When I went to a local dealer regarding a PTO item I saw the same box blade that I had. His was new but looked like it had been sitting for a few years. Bought mine privately for almost half of new and it was it really good shape.

I was looking for a York rake at an auction held at a local dealer. They had 2 and I thought the bid prices were getting high so I quit bidding. I went down the road after the auction and bought a new one for $20 more than the bid prices on the two well used ones sold at the auction.

Not as good a deal as you got but not bad.
