It sure is hot out here...

I had to run into work today. When I left the house it was getting close to 100. On drive in I saw temps from 100 to 106! :confused2:

Thankfully the humidity is not too bad. Just checked and it is 37%.

This morning it was 79 degrees with about 79% humidity. :confused2: At least it burned off.

We have had 100+ degree days for the last couple of days and will on Sunday.

We have a cooling spell after Sunday when the temps drop back into the 90s. The forecast for next Saturday is 100 again. :confused2:

We are darn warm up here in the pucker brush but not as bad as folks south...dang,sooo I am not going to complain,before we know it frost and mother nature will be testing her art skills w/paint brush upon the leaves.

Although the heat has been nasty, vicious and down-right mean, it isn't really the temps that bother me as much as the horrid drought we've experienced. Got a pop up shower today. First such rain all summer. With the heat, the added humidity was positively wilting, but dang, that shower was awful nice.

Sorry for the drought you have experienced, we here in my area seem to get a hard downpour at least once a week.

Can you clarify "pop up shower". I have never seen the term before.

We had 3-4 days of miserable heat and humidity - for our area at least.

Today is much better, 69* and overcast @ 10am.

Ditto on the drought, same as last summer. We just can't get a decent summer rain. I got out the hose this morning and watered my asparagus bed, strawberries and bushes. They were living in dust.

Like Thomas said, before we know it, there will be frost.

Has been much cooler, wetter and duller this spring and so far this summer in 51 years. It will drop tomorrow to around 72-75F tomorrow, that's a nice temperature. :thumbsup:

2 pm in mid-Michigan rite now, 94 degrees, sun is shaded by clouds, humidity is 63%.

My thermometer says 94, did a Google search for current weather here, theirs (airport weather) says 84 degrees. Not sure who is right.
