Exactly, but if a recipe called for 5 milliliters of something and you wanted to make three times as much you would add 15Milliters. if you wanted to make 10 times as much you would add 50 milliliters. Pretty easy huh?

This is where is 1TBS not necessarily 1TBS. Don't know how long I use these improperly. :eek:

If they were made in the USA, they would probably say CUP. We are not graduating the brightest "bulbs" these days.:D

I figure we got teaspoons and tablespoons because some Englishman decided that the spoon he used to add sugar to his tea and the one used in bowls of food were two excellent standards. We are probably lucky to not have an intermediate size called porridge.:rolleyes:

I've still got some old recipes that call for a "#2 can" of whatever. I am still updating such recipes with ounces when I see that. I can convert metric to Imperial in my head, most of the time. As far as my recipes go, HANDS OFF, as I am good with my measurements with those.

Jeez! I thought you were kidding... a Hobbit.. how could I not know what that was?:eek: about 2 and 1/2 bushels or so.. but it depends on what you are measuring... man that is absurd.
