3 ranges, 4 gears. Mechanical shuttle requires clutching.

Power Shuttle very smooth and requires no clutch. Makes you look like a pro and wonderful for FEL work.

Ok so im looking at 12x12 power shuttle for me. That cab looks pretty good but 6 grand is a bid much for being under cover but would be nice thats for sure. That power shuttle looks like the ticket. Thanks for all the help. Im not sure when i will get one it may be spring unless they have one in the yard they want to clear out before winter. I will make some calls.

You might want to price out the TD series also as I think you should be able to get a FWA/ Cab tractor for around $30k. I don't know how much more the loader would cost on it but it is a lot more tractor then the TN. It never hurts to look though and I have not sat down with my dealer to price one out complete yet but when I was talking to him the other day he said it was around $30k which was not too bad a price.

The TN75DA and 32LC loader would be a total of $38,850. You can get this tractor with an 16x16 ESS transmission for an additional $1,100

So, a NH TN75DA with loader and Power Shuttle is almost 40K per the folks at www.tarheeltractor.com

Doc Bob,

Have you purchased and shipped a tractor previously? I too am desiring to go blue, but they are real expensive the in the NW.

Yes, I bought a used 2003 TN70A (168 hrs) from Texas. The deal was so good I could not pass on it. Where in the NW are you? Washington? just curious. I lived in tacoma for years.

I used a company call best-way Trucking (out of Washington State) and they charged me about 1.50 a mile for the tractor, FEL, QA bucket, 6 foot Bush Hog and 3ph scraper blade.

I hope this answers your question.

I'm due south of Tacoma near Vancouver/Portland. I bought my last Kubota out of Oklahoma, went down and pulled it back. It was still a good deal...I was wondering about having one shipped. The Case DX40 in the classifieds appears to be a pretty good deal.

I thought about picking up the tractor, but the cost of fuel, the time required (4-5 days??) and my regular job, I decided on Best Way in Spanaway, WA. Also, I hate driving and the thought of 3000 miles made my bottom sore :D . I figured 200 gallons of diesel at $3.00 a gallon (at the time) would make for $600 just in fuel.

Bob

PS I also did not have the truck or trailer to carry a 3 ton tractor!

Robert, let me know if you do price out a TD. I really need a cab so the boss will drive it once in a while and $30k sounds real tempting. Do you work with the dealer in Arcade?

Larry Romance has stores in Arcade and Sheridan. I am 2 miles from his Sheridan lot so that is where I do most of my dealing. I will check the price the next time I am there. They have a nice TD95 FWA/cab tractor on the lot right now and it is not a fancy rig but appears built very solid. The cab is a lot taller then the TL-A cab also which is a problem I had with the TL-A when I tried it out last year.
