I'm curious how you managed the nor'easter when it came, and piled on since then too. ??
Deere's been sitting under 4' of ice, and is pretty much still unreachable with ice-mound piled around it. Had to hire a plow guy to come and dig me out for this year ($200 for the 5x he came in total) and also had to drop $1300 on a snow-blower.
Once I can move the tractor I'll start working on it again, probably buy a hydraulic pressure test kit w/ quick-connects. I did end up buying a new filter and 6 gallons of Hygard low viscosity. The hydraulics haven't been right since the last time I took it to a local guy for maintenance, I'm just going to bite the bullet and drain the system, pull the screen and the filter and make sure there's nothing clogging it up, and then reassemble.
I'm sure I'll be back here when the weather breaks (just looked out my window and what do I see? snow.) for more guidance, unless someone knows of a decent hydraulics repair guy in the southcoast region of Mass, in which case I might just be tempted to trailer the tractor there and have him (or her) work on it.
