JD 2520 pressureless return?

If worried about dead heading, err.. having oil pass through relief valve, turn the engine off when lowering.

Guess I aint too worried about it. Not my tractor and pump that is taking the abuse.

Not sure why everyone is getting so defensive and coming up with a bunch of other alternatives rather than simply hit float to lower? No deadheading, no shutting the tractor off only to restart it 30 seconds later, etc.

I hope the OP understands all of this and makes the correct decision
