Wait a minute... JD Parts is showing $2.21 for the original spring and $82.09 for the new two springs? Is that correct?

No, it’s an upgraded double spring for $2.21

The other one I called my dealer and he couldn’t find any information on it but I’m thinking it’s for the whole shaft. $82.09

I'm glad to hear you didn't have to pay that much. I looked up the part number shown on your plastic bag (LVA803470) on JD Parts and two on-line parts retailers and they all show it as a "spring" for $82.09.

I have it mostly together but needed a few more O rings and copper washers but mostly part number 11 called a bar which is worn on one side. I could probably flip it over but I ordered a new one.

Yeah, looks like a good idea replacing #11. Did #12 show any wear? That appears to be the collar that #11 rides against.

I couldn’t find any wear on it, number 11 must be softer material.

This is where the grease gets into the tunnel when you grease both sides of the linkage where the shafts go through

Finally got the tractor back together !!
I can really feel the difference in the
4wd engagement. When t was inserting the new spring I had to compress it with a channel lock to slide it together compared to the stock spring I could squeeze with my fingers.
