JD 3032E Exhaust Fumes

The original downpipe was cut just where it bent forward at the bottom (now straight down). The multi bend riser clamps on there. No problems at all with any clearance issues. It does not mount to the FEL. I am adding a small pipe strap near the bottom for extra support today, even though its pretty solid as is.

Couple more pics attached. Still trying to decide if I will use the tip in the pic or not. Seems to do well dispatching fumes even without it.

dlantho--like you I've been choking on the fumes from my 3032. Really like what you've done to fix the problem. From your pictures, looks like the pipe runs back about six/eight inches before it meets the multi-bend riser. Stupid question (from a non-mechanic): why didn't you come straight out from the side, toward the front tire, and then use a 90 degree bend to go upwards? On the vertical pipe: does the top (female end) just slip over the bottom (male end?) How long is the male end? Thanks.

10" back (from center of downpipe after forward bend cut off), 3" out and 63" high w/o the tip. Went backward due to having the loader on the front, as well as trying to keep it rearward for tree limbs & such.
Also the side panel has that curve upward that is perfect for the pipe to exit.

dlantho, Can you explain or picture the 'small pipe strap' you said you were going to install near the bottom for more support. I have an app't tomorrow with my exhaust guy to replicate your idea and want as much info as possible.
