Short throw, thanks for the pics.

Does the welded exit on the muffler go straight out? Hard to tell in pic if that elbow is removable.

Sure looks like it may work. Mine has 1.75" od tubing.

What model tractor do you have?

Our little Ford had a forward facing exhaust and looked a little lawn mowerish so I made a verticle stack out of some old pipe

looks more like a tractor now and no fumes:)

Nice restoration and you got to love the porcelain complexion of those English gals!

Shortthrow, is that tubing 1.75"? If so, I will order the kit for mine.

I just went and measured the tubing that the elbow slips on. The outside diameter read 1.75". The slip on elbow going into exhaust stack and the stack itself is 2".

dlantho,
Please keep us updated on this project. Also any tips on cutting through the hood will be appreciated. I am very interested in this and will be eager to see the outcome.
Thanks,

Steve

She's a haidressers dummy head with a body made from foam. Very realistic at times, too realistic at times, I have to give her a squeeze to make sure she isn't real.

I ended up removing the factory ex. pipe. Took the pipe and a few measurements to my local muffler shop. Came back with the set-up in the pics. Bolted on & wow! Night & day difference on the fumes. No problem openeing the hood. Cost $100.

Thank you to all for your valuable advice!

Looks good! Is this 1 piece or 2, with a U attaching to the existing pipe and the multi-bend riser for the rest? Is the pipe supported any way by the FEL frame? Any vibration against the hydraulic lines of the FEL? Thanks.

Steve
