I've been offered a PHD made by JD. Is anyone familiar with this unit? Good or bad? When were these units made? Light, medium, or heavy duty? Cost new? How do I find out how old it is?
Will it fit on a JD 4310? How do I tell if there's any problems with the unit? Any free parts manuals available? Any information would be helpful. HELP!!!!!!

I have one as do several other members. Simple and durable unit I am not familiar with the capacity but can tell you I can turn a 14" bit with mine with no problems.

I would recomend you follow johndeere3720's thread above yours, he is fixing up one as we speak.
