well long story short ends up being my voltage regulator not stator, jd has 1 for $83. i have 2 spares i got off of older b43 series jd 318 motors, my ? is can these interchange? both seem to be 20amp regulators, and looking on the onan parts site it looks to be true but there are about 6 different part #'s listed.
