JD 3320 Parking Brake

I had the same issue with my 4210 eHydro. In addition to spraying a penetrating oil on the shaft where it enters the rear end, I attached a strong bungee cord on that side of the linkage. I had to spray the shaft, and work it back and forth quite a bit with a wrench to get it freed up. No problems after keeping it lubed and the bungee cord on it.

I have a 2006 JD 3520-Cab with the parking brake dash-button, and I find you really have to stand on the brake pedals (locked together) and I mean "really" stand on 'em while you manipulate the button in order to get the brakes fully released. Dealer says its standard procedure. Good luck!

CHEERS,
. . tug
t-boat. There is a retro kit that replaces the cheesy cable with a rod. control stays in same spot but it is a much better arrangement. If you do a search I had quite a few exchanges on this subject. I did it myself- bear of a job but worth the effort. My cable got so bad I could not release the brakes- I bought my 4720 with a little over 200 hours on it and I'm convinced the guy who owned it never read the manual.
