JD 4052R - What is this connector??

Hello - I was washing my tractor this morning and discovered a damaged connector. I don't know what it's function is. Everything has been operating okay, as far as I know. The connector is at the rear of the tractor - behind the seat, inside the left rear wheel. Does anybody recognize this? It has a metal mount, intended to hold the connector in place. When discovered, mine was dangling outside of the holder. Pictures attached... Thanks!!

Looks like a reverse beeper to me rather than a connector.

There is a sticker on it. Have you read what it says?

I also spy a switch on that purple wire. Wondering if it's to turn that beeper on and off.

Thanks - If that is what it is, all I am missing is the female threaded ring to tighten it and hold it in place. My reverse beeper still beeps.

Looks like a Sonalert, you probably won't be able to get the ring to secure it without buying the whole unit. A small ring of latex caulk will hold it in place, especially if the wires are tied off as well. They really should put a switch on them, so they can be turned off when you're by yourself with noone else around, annoying little gits.
