I am having issues with my new grapple install. I'm not sure if it's my plumbing or a problem with the rear remote pressures. The grapple opens fine as far as speed. But it closes very slow and with hardly any force. I was thinking of making a pressure gauge up so I could just hook it into the rear remotes to check the pressure of both those first. What pressures should I be looking for?

The valve probably came set to a specific pressure. It is up to you what the pressure should be.

Whatever someone set on the remote relief pressure , or it might read the PRV on the FEL valve. I believe using multiple valves, you set the reliefs the same. You could set the remote relief lower than the FEL, and that way, you would know which relief was showing the pressure.

Check those QD's for correct hookup, re-reconnect if necessary

The fact it closes slowly with very little force might mean you are moving the lever too far and going into "float and the grapple is just drifting down from gravity. Try pulling back a little on the lever and see if that solves your problem.

You can expect to see the relief pressure from either valve. Normally all reliefs would be set the same.
