Hello all and thanks for your time. Ive been doing some research on tractors and Im ready to take the plunge. I have gotten a couple of quotes and was wondering if you guys had any suggestions or comments. 1st quote was 4310 with 420 loader, ehydro and r4's for 21000. 2nd quote was 4310 with 430 loader, ehydro, mid pto and r4's and new bush hog for 20045. obviously the second is better, but Im wondering if I need to jump on it or do some more shopping. Ive searched these forums and from what ive gathered others have been able to beat this deal. What do you guys think.

thanks again.

Welcome to TBN /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Here is the quote I got for my 4410 package folding ROPS e-hydro mid pto large R4 dscv power beyond 430fel 61" heavy duty bucket and level indicator. $21,182.00 The 72" box blade was $614.00. I don't know how much more the 4410 is then the 4310 but the 4410 comes standard with 4x4. What part of the country are you in? Here is who I'm getting my package from lawn and leisure talk to Steve. Good luck Shawn

I think your second bid is pretty good! What model Bush Hog? If possible, get the 430 loader, you won't be sorry. Look carefully at the tires, I ordered r4s but ended up with rs and boy am I glad I did! Each has its strengths, though. Why do you need a mid PTO, or is it already there?

Get a;; the hydraulics you expect to need up front, it is cheaper (though not the end of the world) to add later.

i LOVE mine!!!!!!!!!!

i live in missouri. im gonna use this baby to fix up my yard (new construction) and clean up the other 13 acres i have. right now i dont have any grass to mow, but eventually i will have to mow about an acre or so. at that point i will probably buy a pull behind finish mower, because i have trees. i dont really need the mid pto but the 2nd tractor already has it on there. as far as hydraulics i need to check that a little further but the guy said it has all i need. not sure what the bush hog is, but he said the price was 845. im hoping i can go pick this baby up later this week. ive got a ton of work to be done and for once i cant wait to get started.

do you guys agree with the mower choice?

I stopped to check what my local dealer had; Test drove a 4310. Nice size, fits me well.

4310-4wd Dual Mid + Outlets, eHydro, Mid PTO, Single Rear SCV - 16200
430 - 61"HD bucket, Level Indicator, hood guard, ballast box - 3299
Bush Hog 72" Finish Mower - 1899

total- 21398 (the mower is not my first choice and would change)

This was at Lakeland Equipment in Avon. Which is about 25 miles from my property. Since it was my first quote on a 4x10 series, I'm not really sure how great it was, but it sounded good to me.

Whether the 4310 is right for me is another question to be asked later. But its the minimum size to utilize my lx6 rotary cutter ( I have 15 acres of grass/fields to cut, plus trails throughout timber areas of about 80 more acres).

Oh, and I'm staying green.
