CWWANTS,
I waited about 5 weeks for my tractor after placing the order. As you can see from my profile, I got a 4310 eHydro with all electronic options, R4, 430 FEL with 61" HD bucket, 48 BH with 12" bucket and 59" front mount JD 2 stage snowthrower.
The tractor itself arrived at the dealer about 2 weeks after I ordered it, but there was a whole lot of prep work for the attachments: mid PTO for the snowblower + all the associated brackets etc, set up for the BH, chain hooks welded on and paint matched for the FEL (3 hooks) and BH bucket (1 hook). Adding the cruise control and speed match electronics switches (done at the dealer). I also had two rear flood lights added to the ROPS. I ordered a bolt on, reversible, replaceable cutting edge for the FEL bucket as well.
The snowblower and BH were later in arriving at the dealer and certain specific items were holding things up like availability on the 12" BH bucket and the speedmatch and cruise control switches.
In general, Deere was a little behind, but there was an awful lot of work to do for my order on the part of the dealer. It was a long and anxious wait - but boy was it worth it! I actually didn't mind that the dealer took a little extra time because I would rather they spend the time and do it right than do a rush job and mess something up.
In the end, I think it comes down to Deere availability and your specific order complexity/oddity. I knew my snowblower was not a popular item and consequently I would have to ait a little longer. My dealer was really good though, he let me know as the major components came in. It's weird how they ship stuff too. The cutting edge/wear bar for the FEL didn't come with the FEL, it came with the speedmatch and cruise control switches.
Well I hope this gives a feel for how long it can take and what might make things take a little longer. Pretty soon you won't care because you'll be riding around on it. Can't wait to see some pictures. Good Luck!
