Have you tried sticking in a hose into your SCV and filling a clean pail?
I have not. I don稚 have any breakaway hoses to use to test.

What would that tell me? Testing for oil through put?

Sounds like to me your main relief valve is stuck open. If you have a loader and it works then the 3pt safety valve could be stuck open. One other thing is the O rings where the 3pt mounts to the rockshaft housings.

Care to expound on that theory? I only have the hookups for the loader. Nothing plugged into the break aways.

I guess Ill try and find out where the 杜ain relief valve is and how to unplug/unstick it.

I would be leaning towards the rockshaft control valve as well. First thing I would check is the linkage to it. There's a roll pin the on other models has been known to break after years of corrosion or a hung up control valve. This is for the 4000 series but I would guess your larger model would have a similar setup.

Does your tractor have knob to control the drop of the lift? If so see if it is screwed tight.

Rate of drop screw affects lowering speed of 3 pt but has nothing to do with raising of 3 pt.

You stated your tractor has control valve for FEL but no FEL & no breakaway couplers. Is that correct?

No loader. I have the joystick and four hoses coming off the rear hydros that are mounted and have 4 break aways mounted beneath the joystick. I was making reference to the fact that I don’t have any way to plug anything into the mounted break aways for testing.

there are different variations of the system depending on whether you have draft control or not.

you can look up diagrams here for the system:

Mine has the draft control lever next to the raise/lower lever. It also has the kit 23 installed from the diagram

I'll suggest to acquire an ISO male coupler tip, short hose & 5000 psi gauge to attach to one breakaway so as to check to determine if there's any hyd pressure on lift circuit.
