My JD 5115M drawbar hitch had excessive movement / slop left & right affecting backing trailer, pull type BatWing Bush Hog & my poultry caking machine.
I had my machine shop friend drill my drawbar so that I could add a 5/8x4.5” bolt thru the factory hole in the upper & lower mount that holds the drawbar in place.
Notice the bolt head between the 2 locking pin clips that I have safety zip tied.
I also added a flat washer on the topside of drawbar sandwiched between the upper & lower halves of the factory JD Mount & torqued the bolt excessively tight for no movement up & down OR left & right now.
