John deere 5400 w/ 520 loader. Had a boom cylinder on loader rebuilt. After putting back on loader, the loader jerks when being raised. It,s mild at idle, but becomes worse with more throttle. I read online that it was air in system, and would resolve with use. I have raised and lowered loader many times, tipped bucket many times, turned steering wheel many times, and problem is no better. Fluid level is at full. Any suggestions to fix would be appreciated.

Is it Possible the rebuilt cylinder was assembled incorrectly causing it to bind?

To test can you remove the cylinder with the hoses connected and try extending and retracting the cylinder. It should move smoothly

Always a good idea to have them rebuilt in pairs.

Does this "jerky" stuff happen with a loaded bucket? or just empty bucket?
