jd 6420

i have jd 6420 this morning when i started it the heater light and the i light started flashing after 1 minut.then the tractor cut out.we had a heavy frost -8c.i think the diesel could have frozen any ideas:

Have you tried starting it again after it died?

On your JD, are you able to hold the key at a position where the glow plugs are warming? (My NH allows you to hold the key just shy of cranking to let the GP's heat)

If so...let them heat 2 or 3 times and try to start it.
