JD 70 Price?

I looked over a John Deere 750 tractor yesterday. Tractor is exceptionally clean, and runs like a new one, with 886 hr. showing, looks like 1989 was the last production year. Everything looks original and the 3 pt. hitch works as it should. It has a five foot finishing mower. It is a 2 wheel drive.
Been a while since I have bought a tractor of any size and I am looking for my son.
I know there are many opinions of prices for tractors and the condition means a lot. This one seems to need nothing.
There asking price is $4,000.

One thing to look at on this series is that front PTO setup. It uses an electric clutch that is no longer available and if you find a used one get ready to pay...I have seen them for sale for $1, 000. Make real sure the bearings, clutch and all that is in tip top shape. About the only thing you can find are the two belts that run the belly mower.
