I am finishing up adding a turbo to my 955. I'll need to turn up the fuel and if anyone has the method...please advise.
I've attached a picture of the injector pump with the adjustment cover off

Thanks!

Back it OUT a 1/2 turn at a time until u get the required results..
TO MUCH BLACK smoke.. turn it IN to turn the fuel down.

The small part with the two nuts or the big threaded part?

Sorry, I got distracted & I knew that would come up when I hit "post".. but I hadta go..
The BIG threaded part.. The 2 smaller nuts is a torque back-up adjustment screw..
The BIG screw is the rack travel "stop screw", it allows the control rack to move to get more/less fuel..
THATS HOW the factory sets max HP fuel delivery.. & the smaller screws are for torque.. u can leave them alone..
Because once u turn the fuel screw{big} the torque will follow along..{same screw}
Try not to burn-up/melt your motor.!!
Is this just a "toy" or are u making a puller or a racer.??

You may have a hard time getting the engine to run right as proper fuel schedule with boost may be achieved but it will be getting too much fuel at lower power. Normal pump increases fuel for RPM only, a boosted engine needs to adjust for increased MAP, often done with an aneroid in those pumps

Agreed, but how often are our tractors ran at low idle?

I'm at 7400 ft in Colorado so Im hoping for at least turbonarmalization and maybe more.
Need some more power for a pto snowblower.
Thanks for the help!
I'll keep posting on the project for those interested.

& there is no boost at low idle.. & that pump doesn't have an aneroid..

I should be(maybe) able to just adjust the idle stop lower. Diesels could care less about A/f ratio.
