Bought this 14X7B 8' drill recently. It has been sitting unused for several years, but is not rusted out, and seems to be in good condition. It has the powerlift (rope pull lever actuator thing) that does the lowering and raising of the disks, and it seems to not be working right, or either I don't know how to operate it. Greased all the zerks. I have tried pulling the rope/lever while towing the drill, but nothing happens. I see the mechanism has a plate with two ears/cogs that can be engaged with the lever...it seems like this plate should be turning when the plow is moving, but it isn't. Bought the operator manual, but it has no mention of the operation of the powerlift. Sure would appreciate someone explaining to me how to get the powerlift to operate? Thanks
