Can anyone recommend a source for John Deere mower blades? I have a 50” mower deck for my 318 and believe there must be a less expensive source then the dealer?
I live out here in Oregon.

Thank you!

I have had Deere mowers for the last 25 years, and have not found them to be overly expensive, for what I get in return. I usually buy a new set every year, and sharpen them 2-3 times. Seems the cost is about $1.00 per week which isn't too bad, IMO. But then, I haven't found or tried a different source.

$50 a set and I can easily go through a couple sets a year. You are probably right. I am just being cheap...

Please, didn't mean you were cheap. Hope you find a better source and share with us all.

I haven’t found a source for JD blades. I have a F735 front mower cutter. The blades do not stay sharp like the ones on my Kubota MMM.
I may not have the mower adjusted to the correct height yet, which makes it scalp in some places of my lawn.
JD has a 20% off coupon on their site for a set of blades. That should be some help until someone comes up with an after market site.
