Sonnie, just as Jerry wrote, different manufacturers post the ratings differently. I have, in the past, posted some fairly detailed information on this topic.
I know that Mahindra rates their tractors at the pivot points on the FEL and at the ball eyes on the 3pt hitch. It is on the website but you have to dig for it. For reference on other brands, Kioti lists FEL capacity at piviot points, but 3pt capacity at 24" behind.
Kubota, New Holland, Case & Massey Fergusion rate their FEL's at the bucket center and at 24" behind the ball eyes (M-F may rate the 3pt at the ball eyes but I'm not sure I remember and didn't go back to my notes or their website to doublecheck) Massey is one of the few who lists "breakout" at the bucket lip, which is the best measurement for that capacity.
John Deere has everything on their website but it is often hard to tell what they are showing, the best source is to look at their on line manuals and those are very detailed and show bucket center and 24" behind the ball eyes, but some marketing material shows pivot point and ball eyes.
Branson, Century and other brands all do some combination of the above and brands with aftermarket loaders as options are even more confusing because then you have to rely on the tractor dealer to give you information which they may not even know where the capacity measuring points are from!
