The goal:
1. Add set of remotes (for TNT, etc)
2. Be able to use remotes when BH is attached
3. Be able to use remotes W/O BH attached.

I have the valve shown in the attached pictures.
Currently the valve is setup using the PYB option as the valve_factory setup shows. The BH valve is the PYB valve (valve_edit).

From the best searching I could find the PYB port closest to the back of the tractor is pressure out. So my valve is setup accordingly. I can't find a "definitive" statement regarding if this is the pressure out port or not. So I am a bit unsure.

When the BH is not attached the PYB port output on the valve is looped back into the return port on the valve. I have the "T" part of the factory_valve layout at the valve itself (see valve_layout) picture.

Looking at the valve_layout picture:
1. The "T" on the valve:
A) Lower connection -> PYB return (on tractor)
B) Upper connection -> BH return OR valve PYB valve return / loop when no BH on tractor.

With the BH connected, the QC on the top of the T disconnects. One end goes to the BH and the other end gets the connection from the BH.

This seems like it should work to me anyway...
The new CCM toplink doesn't move when connected to the work ports on the valve.

Where did I go wrong on the plumbing?
I am stumped.
TIA!

Sean

It is not clear to me how this is hooked up.

You have a "T" on the work port of the valve? You cannot "T" high pressure lines since the flow will follow the path of least resistance. ALL valves (like your new one and the one on the backhoe) MUST be added in series.

Generally on these little JD tractors, since there is no "tank" return available a vale without the PBY option is used. So you only have the IN and OUT ports of the new valve connected. Here are some examples:

Adding Power Beyond, 3-spool hydraulic valve, and T-n-T to a JD 2520 - TractorByNet.com

Installing a 2 spool SCV on a JD 2320 - TractorByNet.com

Rear Remotes on a JD4110 - TractorByNet.com

In your case, you would need a QD on the OUT side of the valve so you could add the hoe "in series" into the PB lines.

Can you please provide a detailed drawing of your connections?

Kenny,
Got things working :)

Thank heavens for this post:

Whats really sad, is after hours of searching I find the information only to realize I posted in the thread...

My problem was the pressure and return lines were incorrect.
I never intended to "T" the pressure line only the return.

The attached picture shows graphically what I am talking about.

Best regards,
Sean
