In all sincerity comparing these tractors was somewhat difficult.....and yet they both offer so many good things it was hard to make a mistake. At the end of the day, I felt I was getting allot more standard features in the Bota vs the Deere products for my situations. Bota offers lots of standard cab features like lights and mirrors, wipers, heated glass, and swivel seat, more spacious cab, and auto throttle features that I became sold on those niceties. Also they have bigger tires and a wider footprint than the Deere product.....which I would have added spacers to feel comfortable with. They didn't seem to "overcharge" for the extra features like a radio or rear remotes.....like Deere can.
Still.....it was a good comaparison and I worked the brands against one another to a degree. The Deere product was hard to get right now and the Kubota dealer is new.....and was getting good shipments of product to make the new dealership "fly" - I suppose. Anyway.....he had just received the tractor I ended up to buy.....and had everything "in stock" as compared to a wait with the Deere.
I had just spent $2000 to rebuild my front Axel earlier this year.....and that (comparative) massive Kubota front Axel had some appeal too....... Anyway......At the end of the day......I just liked the more weight and more features I got for similar money. Time will tell....if I am a happy orange guy (?). It's all good.
.
If my needs were more toward mowing lawns and such.....I would have steered my way into the Deere product as it's lighter weight.
