my 4310 has intermitant problems moving forward or back. have to stomp on pedals to go. Have replaced hydro filter, cleaned the suction screen and replaced all hydro oil. Seems to be in the electronic pedals ??? Thanks Tom

My 4400 is a gear (reverser) transmission, so I can't lend experience.
However, based upon my recollection of old threads concerning the 4x10 Deeres, there is or are potentiometer(s) below the hydro pedals (rather then linkages).
I suggest you look for loose or broken wiring, connections or corrosion on those potentiometers. What I don't recall is if the pedals have a direct linkage to the potentiometer, or if they use a magnetic strip.
Since the problem is intermittent, I'm guessing you may have a wire or wires partially broken.
I also suggest you do a TBN search for 4310 and see what you can find. Seems like at least a couple guys had similar problems.
Roy is right on!! Also there are springs to return the pedal to "neutral". Make sure the springs are not rusty. A shot of penetrating oil helps. While you are under there lube the brake linkage to the axle too.
The potentiometers are a dial design. very tough, though the wires to them are very vunerable.
