Your Jd has a loose governor spring. You can tension the spring so that the rpm regime is tighter. If you over tighten it, it will be impossible to keep constant revs because it will add and decrease the amount of fuel injected 2 times a second. turn it too loose and you wont be able to rev at all /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

thanks for your answer, i'll investigate that screw, and then rotate it softly.

by the way, i remind myself that variation on engine revolutions, happens veru quicly, for example with a trailer, when i acelerate.
