JD5425 no electric power

I have been looking for a place on line where I can download the schematics for JD5425 so we can trace the electrical short easier. Any suggestions? May have to purchase a deck manual. Craig

That grinding noise is your starter, no matter what your testing told you. It will eventually go bad as all of the ones on this series tractor do. It's a known failure item. Do yourself a favor and lift the leads from the terminal on the injector pump fuel shutoff valve and see if it will start. At least eliminate that.

Thanks guys. We are up and running again. Turned out to be the cold temp sensor on the side of the block.
