I hate to agree with everyone on here, but I would agree the lack of a bank note is the best part of life. A tractor or a car sure seems to drive better when it is all paid off. I have noticed several farmers recently driving around in new tractors because of the currently great rates most everyone is offering. One of them actually bought a new tractor because his a/c broke in the old one. These, of course, are the same people that are always complaining that they don't have any money in their pockets. I'm in the process of buying myself a brand new used tractor, because I like to let someone else take the loss on the first couple of years. Plus as nice as those brand new tractors are that first scratch or dent sure hurts a lot more than it does on the older ones.
