Jinma 354 4wd 2012 540 PTO stuck on

Hi all.

Hoping for some insight. I was running my PTO driven bush hog and the lever that changes from 540 - N - 1000 got stuck. I fiddled clutch in, clutch out and it started working again. Now I cannot get it to stop spinning in 540. Lever moves in the proper 3 option but it is always running on 540.

Any ideas ?

ok thank you ill take a look. Think there is a panel i can take off at the back to have a look. picture attached you think im alright to take off this panel ?

The roll pin I'm referring to will be at the base of the shift lever, not inside the case.

I don't have that panel on mine but I'm pretty sure it's for attaching a backhoe hydraulic pump.
