my brother actually has the tractor, inherited from dad, who passed away.
he does not have internet.
he told me that apparently with out using the fluid level viewing portals on the back, he openned the fluid storage container an put in 90 weight gear lube. yeh, I know! not hydraulic fluid.
my brother has drained the reservoir and replaced, filter and fluid (tractor store hydraulic fluid) not JD
the tractor makes a noise which sounds like it's grinding up something. he is getting fluid to the front bucket, cause he was told to check it by raising it and watch if it lowered down (like it might have air in the line).
THE RESERVOIR was not professionally flushed.
thanks, joe
