I have a 1025R coding 523591.14
Says reverse and forward pedal wiring swapped.
Was driving thru yard, when this code popped up. How did my wiring get swapped???? Lol!
Now PTO comes on but when going forward or reverse it shuts down the PTO.
Anyone else, experience this problem?
Thanks very much for your help!

I would start by looking to see if there are any disconnected, broken, or pinched wires for the F/R pedals.

John Deere came and picked her up.
Warranty work.
I let you know when I find out.

Watch out. Get your sales person involved. Maintenance will still want to charge you for it. Went through this on my lemony 1025R that had several trips of the guy out here to fix various things.

Hope they get it worked out and that nothing else goes on it.

Thanks Ralph. I'll let you know!
I hope this doesn't happen.
Sorry to hear about yours.
It's a lot of money spent.

Was using the FEL yesterday and looked down to see the yellow exclamation on my 2025R. It went away too fast, all I caught was the 5 and then the 14 on the next screen - some searching led me here, and I think it's the 523591.14 code. I've had it come on very intermittently over the past year, always when creeping backwards, which seems to match others' experiences.

I saw @dodge man post about this on a different forum many years ago - did the problem ever progress to where you had to fix something? I think I'm just going to do nothing until it becomes a problem that I can reproduce, and will look for wires when I do the driveline greasing in the spring.

It's funny, I've replaced a broken pedal, installed the auto-throttle, and done the idle forward/backwards creeper adjustment, and never noticed any switch or wires down there. Looking at the parts diagram, I'm not even certain if it's this or not:

30 -Sealed Plunger Switch

Part Number
LVA13307

Also did some looking for how to recall trouble codes, everything references pushing a "roll mode" switch - seems like it's for larger tractors, even though the site specifically had instructions for the 1025R - I blame AI slop for that. Any way to check the codes at home?
