John Deere 1025R Kubota BX2370 pricing and thoughts

I've been looking at the 1025R and the BX2370 I could live with either. I've gotten quotes on both with a 60" deck and loader, I added the quick connect to the BX FEL. The out the door price for the 1025R is $16400 and the BX2370 is $15000 out the door. My question is, can I get a better deal than what they're offering me? Second question is the John Deere worth $1400 more that the Kubota? I'm leaning towards the Bota. Both tractors have things I like, the Kubota has real smooth hydraulics and seems solid, I like the loader valve location and drive over deck on the Deere better. Please let me know your thoughts, if you don't want to put #s on the open forum, shoot me a PM. Thanks

Have you driven both and operated the FEL's, etc? I simply find the Kubotas hyro pedal terribly uncomfortable. I am 6' 5" and with these legs, that rocker pedal arrangment is a cramping experience. I drove a friends 3010 Kubota today and same problem.

In my opinion, the two tractors are so good that the difference comes down to which one FITS you best. After all, you are going to be spending hours at a time on it so anything that is uncomfortable will become intolerable.

I also find trying to hold a 6 gallon diesel fuel jug above the Kubota hood to put fuel in it very unnecessarily difficult. (The Deere fuel fill is on the rear of the fender, beside the seat) its details like this which seperate the two and which you need to consider to make your decision......

The Kubota BX fills at the rear fender as well. Always have.

The treadle versus the two pedal system is, indeed, a marked difference and is perhaps a deal breaker for some folks.

Speaking of fuel, I have never liked the cheesy fender-mount fuel gauge on the 1-series Deeres.

I don't have a preference on pedal arrangement. I have ran both styles quite a bit.

I was going to say the same thing. It looks like it off a cheap mower.

Regardless of which tractor you get, here's the answer to the issue of holding a diesel can in an awkward position.

Just set the No Spill can on the hood or fender, push the button and fill her up without spilling a drop.
