Price Check John Deere 2320

I am new to this but have viewed this site and found it very helpful with the information in concern of my future purchase it even swayed me from the 2305 to look at the 2320, I shopped at other vendors even Kubota which was about 1,500.00 more than John Deere when compared apples to apples. I recently got a qoute from my local dealer on the John Deere 2320 with 200cx loader, 5 foot scape blade and 54D cutting deck R-4 tires and the standard hood/brush guard at 17,400. I was hoping to get some input and feed back on this. Thanks for all your help

In my neck of the woods,JD is more expensive than the equivalent Kubota. IMO that is not bad,but a little on the high side. If that is less tax, I would think you could easily get a 2520 for that price. My .02

Why the 54" deck? The 62 will stick out further (obviously) making trimming MUCH easier.

No there is no sales tax, and as far as the decision on the 54D was price I was at Max. on the budget and had to convince the wife to even allow that, my argument was why have the Craftsmen Lawn Mower and a John Deere that can do both property/Driveway maitnence plus cut grass so thats the reason although I would love to have the 64 of course I really do not know what the price difference is...... I believe for the price with all the impliments is a good deal though.

i have a 2320 and agree the 62inch deck. i dont like the independent lift it drops to quick .

I guess the main reason for this investment, is to maintain my driveway along to include snow removal, my lane is gravel approx. 1000 feet. We also own about 3.5 acres wooded lot in which we only use about 1.5 acres as our foot print I would like to clear out the under brush and small trees to plant grass for my kids to have more room to play and I believe in time it will pay for itself and not to forget a tax write off.

I went to John Deere's website as you noted to look at the MSRP and what I was being qouted from my local dealer and it looked as though his prices were 300-400 off the implements and about 1,500 off on the tractor so needless to say it has been ordered so I can't wait till the deere arrives. Thanks for all the input very very helpful
