WOW!! Quite the transformation from beginning to end.

Oh yeah shes some different now than it was back in Jan.! That first pic. doesnt do it much justice.Had a record breaking turnout at our truck show today. Brought this down and my friend brought his 58 Wheel Horse down and all the kids loved em! Cant say I enjoy watching all the climbing around on them, but its a show, and thats just what is going to happen. The picture was from yesterday.

Its not quite done yet but thank you very much!! I the future I will have it repainted by a friend of mines dad who does autobody, and he is big into vintage JD mowers

Havent posted the other pics yet but I will when I get time. I made some rubber washers out of a piece of mudflap the other day. I ended up repainting the springs and washers. And today I got the deck painted with the first coat. Tomorrow morning I will head up and my grandfather will put the final coats on. Then its on to decals and final assembly!

Assembled the deck this afternoon. Went to a tractor show auction this AM and saw some decent stuff. Never heard of an Electric Lift JD? It was a 112. Anyways, i have the deck just about put back together but need to button up a few things. The first decal I put on has some creases and it stretched a little, but the other 3 came out great!

The tractor has been sitting for a while, I eneded up tearing it down alot to get the dash off, and drill a second hole in it for the hourmeter. i just pucked up a volt meter from tractor supply a few days ago, and have to get the two of them hooked up. i plan to get them hooked up sometime in the next few days after school. (Starts tomorrow) Also, I just found out from a Kohler serial number guide, that the current engine is a 2000!! Looks like he put an engine in it just before he got the 2210. I was also told a few months ago that the 317 was used up until around 5 years ago. He would move things around with it I guess....

Got my gauges working wednesday night, when i turn the key on, the voltmeter goes to 12, running it goes to 14 and even 15(red) when moving. When i turn the lights on, it drops to 11 when the key is on. They dont match up the greatest bit i just wanted the face to be black, and the bezel to be something like chrome. It was pretty cheap too so that makes it better!

Forgot to mention that a few nights ago, I got another front hubcap for 21$. A little more than what I wanted to pay for it, but its in decent shape with only 1 dent, but the inside has a big big rust patch. But with a new one at $50, I havent paid 2/3 of a new one for the 2 that I got used!!

Got the hubcap today, it was in better shape than I had thought it was. After a quick mins worth of polishing, it looks pretty good. Now i have a full matching set of hubcaps, rust spots and all. lol The first pic is of the one I got today, the other is just a comparison to the left side.
Also, just realized I havent posted a complete pic of the 317 yet, So here it is!!
