Comparison John Deere 3320 and Implement size selection

I see that tractordata.com says the wheelbase of a 3320 is 68". Wheelbase is often confused with width.

Ok, thanks for the info: In John Deere's own sales literature that I am looking at as I type this, in the brochure titled 3000 Series Compact Utility Tractors on page 5 there is a picture from the rear of the tractor and a dimension line that says 68.4 inches, as I search other places though this is apparently with the optional 43x16x20 R4 tires, so I'm assuming the standard configuration is closer to 60"..... or Deere's own literature is wrong, one or the other! I agree with Tomd999 and will certainly opt for the CX loader, the 300x seems underpowered and for only a few hundred dollars less I'm not sure why they even offer it. Thanks again.

I think the 68 inches is only with Ag tyres/wheels set to the widest setting. Ag tyres come on wheels that allow a wide range of adjustment. R4's come on wheels that can only be reversed to get a change in width of an inch or so.

trktrman is right about wheelbase (distance between front and back) and width. However, I will say the drawing / photo in the JD sales brochure shows the width as being 68". This is not correct. The 60" implement will work fine with the 3320.

I have a 3320 with R-4's. Here's a list of my implements with their sizes. These implements have worked great with this machine.

- MX5 brush hog
- Box Blade - 5 ft.
- Landscape Rake - 6 ft.

Definitely get the CX loader!

I put the tape measure under my tires and the foot print of the rear tires is 56".

You'll love the JD 3320. It's a great machine!
