John Deere 3320 Hyd. problem.

I think that there is air in my hydraulic system. Can an owner bleed this out himself at home? Thanks, Terry

1st off, what makes you think you have air in the system? Have you opened the system for any repairs or replaced lines?
2nd, the best way I know of is to open a line part way at the component in question and actuate that component until a steady stream comes out. Usually a hydraulic system does't need bled and will come back with simply using it. What issues are you having?

Read this post, I have detailed a common failure pointy for these machine.
As noted, the systems are self bleeding/purging so if there is air in the system (usually indicated by foamy looking fluid) then there is a suction side leake somewhere.

The problem is a whining screaching noise in the sys. If I lower the RPM it goes away.

I added a doubler, And opened the lines to do this.

Doubler? What is that exactly? Opened what lines?

A doubler is a hydraulic splitter to add a third hyd. circuit.

did it lower your pressure too much? robbing pressure from the main circuits?

Ah so a diverter valve, what lines did you open? They are generally plumbed after the remotes, so not sure how that would Introduce much air, and as stated the system is self purging. Did this start after the diverter install?

I have also seen low fluid cause some similar concerns.
