John Deere 4052R Good Tractor?

The 4052R tractor is a great tractor if you live in the snow belt and need to move snow. I bought the tractor with a after market front snow blower. The blower has a long drive shaft that hooks to the rear pto.This baby can blow snow like no tomorrow. Plenty of H.P.

We live in the snow belt also, so I know what you mean.

If we ever manage to get tractor! I say that because we've only raised about 20K so far. But it will be parked all winter, it actually would be of less value to us, if it had a cab.....

4052R update: Well its been two weeks and I'm no further a head. I met with the dealer last Friday and asked what his rock bottom price would be for me to replace this tractor for one that works. Still waiting for his response. I was able to locate a service Rep. on the internet. He returned my call the next day. Everyone that I have talked to from Deere has been pleasant. I sure wish I had my old tractor back.

Sadly, being pleasant is about 5 things down on the list of requirements...

What brand blower...Erskine?
I have a Deere branded rear blower. Although I'd love a FEL mounted hydraulic blower...just can't justify $12K-$15K.
