Yes, YouTube can be a great source for many projects.
Many JD vids but my luck finding one on the “wire” design produced very little. Clip ring rebuilds were plentiful!

Also getting the right parts kit was a real trick. My parts guy needed FEL serial numbers to produce the $45+@ kit I purchased. My web searching led me to $14-$40 kits after my purchase (I have 2 more cylinders to rebuild in the future).

Also, the FEL’s have 8 short JD special hoses that appear to be the same & they go for $40-$60@. After 20+ years they may need replacement. I have done 4 so far.

So far my JD4500 & 460 FEL have been a great asset!
