John Deere 4300
I owned a John Deere 4300 that I bought new in 1999 and sold it 14 years later in 2013. I purchased some property recently and need a comparable tractor. It looks like the 3320 may have replaced the 4300 followed by the R series tractors. I have not followed new JD models recently and would be happy to have a 4300 or "equivalent" newer tractor. How do these other models compare to the 4300 in terms of reputation, build quality, reliability, etc.? I am looking for a used tractor and if these newer models are just as good as the 4300, it would give me more options when looking. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Can't speak for the newest models but my 2008 3320 has had zero issues for 9 years/600 hours. Well I'll take that back, it did have a warranty repair on the adjustable steering wheel in its first year but otherwise only required fluid/filter changes and one battery replacement.
