I do get fuel flow when I turn on key. The flow seems strong but I never checked this when it was running good, so I don't have a comparison. I did remove the fuel return line that goes back to the tank. I removed it while the engine was struggling to run. I had lots of gas flowing out of this. By the way, engine does keep running even as plenty of gas comes out of hose.
So, I'm still getting the poor running engine. The governor keeps cycling the engine higher rpm back to lower. I did remove the vacuum hose that attaches to the MAP sensor and it certainly changes the pitch of how the engine sounds. Not nearly as much governor cycling, but by no means back to normal.
Looking for more ideas as I will try to work on some more today.
